<DIV>Husband and I decided to do the Froglok quest so we could make a couple of frog newbies up to test with. Cleric/Rogue combo.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>First thing I wanted to comment on is there is what I consider a large gap between quested gear (protection and damage) vs dropped gear (protection and damage) of the same level. Right now dropped gear is far superior to quested gear. Not sure if this is intended.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, note I am playing a Rogue for the first time, and me and the Cleric were getting an odd HO wheel. I am thinking it's bugged. The wheel is called Divine Trickery, and requires the cleric to nuke and me to side attack....the effect is what's in question. The effect completely heals the mob you are fighting <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. Is this intended?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, I would find it spiffy to test out these new "Mastery" spell things on all my characters, I have a level 32 ( I believe ) Necromancer on Test and a Level 29 Templar. But I cannot /respec them. Are the new specializations actually in game now? And if so, when will we get a free /respec so we can test them out?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would also like to comment on the encounter difficulty changes thus far. I can only speak about what I have seen with my new rogue, as I haven't really played my higher levels due to them not having their traits anymore. ( Hurts my necromancer the most as she was using the trait pet. ) The changes look ok thus far. I noticed the gnolls in acher wood are three arrowed, that through me off a bit. I am actually curious as to why the downtiering is being reversed in area's. The low end population on Test, and a few other serves I have messed around on sense coming back have been so sparse it was scary. Maybe at the higher end there are more people to group with. But at the low end, at the times I play, there just isn't very many people. Thusly...people solo. It's a shame we couldn't just get world adjusting mob difficulty according to the initiating party, adjusting the reward accordingly....dynamically.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh and, AoE buff spells are acting wierd. Pathfinding on my Rogue kept constantly turning off my teamate, and 80% of the time would not come back on him when he got back in-range. His shield spell was doing the same thing. Just thought I would let ya'll know.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But anyhow, I have enjoyed coming back. And the new features look real good for the most part. Hopefully Necromancer and Conjurer's will have mastery pet options.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Be well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Blacksabath</DIV> <DIV>( Now playing Gemini, the froglok rogue )</DIV><p>Message Edited by LadyEternity on <span class=date_text>09-04-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:43 AM</span>
