Okay, I'll admit I am a language nut. That said, is it possible to try and use a common, "proper", vocabulary for all of us "Testers only"? For example, tradeskills do not have "buffs" they have "counter(spells)" to counter "events". Also, the Test server has NO GM's or customer service. We do get visited by QA folks though (who do excellent work, I might add). When I hear these terms being used on the server and the board, I often stop and wonder if the person knows what they are talking about or not. Having a common vocabulary can greatly improve the exchange of ideas. There is enough second guessing and miscommunication already from not being able to see peoples' expressions and hear the inflection in their voice. I truly believe road rage would not exist if people could clearly see each other while driving. When we drive too many people see cars, not people. If seeing facial expression wasn't so important to communication, why don't people have sidewalk rage? <div></div>
