<DIV>The new tooltips seem to working okay, but I am looking for a way to toggle that feature back off.   I find that they sometimes block out other things I want to see, if my cursor happens to be over a bag.  Those are mighty big tooltips. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I want to see what's in a container, I just open it up and look.  Reading down a list of things doesn't seem any faster to me.  Or make that information show up with a right-click, then it won't be popping up when you don't want it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Not asking to get rid of the feature,  just make it optional so players can choose for themselves.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for listening.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Osric -- 20's Paladin  Test Server</DIV>

They are a bit large on a 1024x768 screen (which is the resolution I run at, even though I could run at higher resolutions). I have not checked to see what happens with the 24-slot boxes... does the tooltip even fit on the screen at the lower resolutions? (Will check this when the server comes back up if I remember.)

Mmm, I like the idea of making them toggleable too.  I can see where a lot of people would really like this change; I'm not really partial to it myself but aside from it causing migraines in our lovely Dev team I see no reason why we shouldn't have it both ways, hehe. For the record, I usually play on 1280x1024, and the tooltips that keep popping up when I move my mouse over my open inventory aren't so big I can't deal with it, but they do get in my way (especially because the first two bags are 24-slot and 20-slot and as the bags on the left, they're always full of whatever I'm picking up, and Yeep!  Didn't mean to get that huge list there...). Where I do like the "open" tag is at the bank, because for some reason my boxes won't stay labelled, and at first glance it's hard to tell the T2 crafting supplies box from the T4 crafting supplies box.  All pristine teak boxes look the same on the outside and that "open" tag is stopping me from opening and closing the same darn box four times in a row as I usually end up doing. <div></div>

<DIV>Adding an option is straightforward -- hopefully that can sneak in before the lock. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Bags should also save their labels more reliably now. Changing the bag label didn't force a save (you had to do something else to the bag before zoning such as moving/adding an item.)</DIV>

On the bag note... you can't imagine how pleased I am that bags now save their position reliably since LU 11. That has been a long-running thorn in my side.
