View Full Version : Group member engagement in Combat?
<DIV>Reported this a long time ago too, but it still annoys me, so I'm reposting.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>When grouped, if a party member, regardless of proximity, engages in combat, my coercer immediately goes into combat mode, while my templar does not. I have no idea what's causing this (concentration buffs perhaps, perhaps one with wards). In most of those situations, I'm far away from the other combatant, and I'm doing everything in my power to get to them as fast as possible. As such, when I'm thrown into combat mode, I'm reduced in movement rate, which defeats my ability to reach the other party member ASAP.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Ce on <span class=date_text>06-05-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:49 PM</span>

Just a comment, I think this is intended and as such I have never liked it. It was implemented in beta. I really don't see why if I dont turn on attack I can't stand there like a normal person instead of with my mouth hanging open and half squat crab mode through an entire combat round. It is an aweful animation on my part, and I spend a great deal of time looking at others. Casters and healers, well they look like dorks in combat mode. ~Eva <div></div>

This happened to me while harvesting. Kind of funny to have a fighting baton, cestii and mining pick and in my hand all at once, while I bang away at a rock with my "angry expression on. :smileyvery-happy:
