<DIV>City Merchants appear to be selling nothing but torches. They were fine before these little patches, now they sell nothing.</DIV>

<DIV>SOE has decided that merchants will no longer sell furniture. Go to the furniture shop in NQ, all she sells is torch's now as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yet another decision I just do not get.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Rondari :/</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

City merchants are the ones who sell the guild status items. They were not part of the furniture merchant wipe. They added a new permission in the last update that has to do with giving permission to buy status items. If you see nothing on the city merchant it means your guild leader did not give you permission. The default is set to unchecked. http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=tpriv&message.id=1403 ~Osen <div></div>

Also, the permission thing is borked. Guild leader is defaulted to unchecked. Which means the guild leader can't be checked. Add to that the guild ranks are autopromoting on zoning you have eleventeenzillion officers.... ~Eva <div></div>

<DIV>So - Assuming they fix the permission stuff - You will still be able to buy city merchant items - but from what I recall that selection is very limited and is mostly the room based tradeskill stations and clothing. I understand this issue now but still don't get the furniture merchant thing. I think to make a statement, SOE should just burn the houses of all the furniture merchants and leave charred remains to explain why a furniture shop won't sell furniture anymore.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Rondari <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Rondari on <span class=date_text>05-16-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:11 PM</span>
