I don't understand how these stats changes effect priests. Should I raise my Int, to make them more powerful? My heal spell no heals for 100 less than it did before the patch. My damage spells seem bout the same or maybe even a bit less. My Int is like 68, my wis is like 168 (not sure on exact numbers) If int is going to be a major factor then our armor needs to be looked at as well. Since most priests armor is wisdom armor. I have read some of the posts, and sounds like ppl are not 100% sure how spells going to work. Kaida lvl 49 Defiler <div></div>

The changes affect damage, not healing. What heal spell do you see as doing less now?

<div></div>Moorgard, this is another question I have, which I won't be able to answer for myself on Test: Are the INT/WIS changes being scaled so that the two can largely cancel one another out? That is.. if someone has 150 INT, but the opponent has 150 WIS, then the mechanics will be as they were pre-patch? There are a few reasons I bring this up.. but the biggest one is that it is SUBSTANTIALLY harder to build of WIS than it is to build up INT. We had wizards in our guild that could get their unbuffed INT to 200 by level 30. On the other hand, I am very concious of my gear and maintain a very well-kept Inquisitor, and I am lucky if I can squeeze anything over 120 WIS at level 42. (I could get to around 140-150 with SERIOUS compromise to my magic resists and other stats). <div></div><p>Message Edited by Sebastien on <span class=date_text>05-12-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:27 AM</span>

One of the spells is Sacrificial Alleviation my lvl 46 heal spell, the other which seems to do a bit less is Fetid Balm my lvl 43 spell. They are app2 spells, since I haven't found a sage to make at least ap4's for me. I can't ever find rares (and I do harvest quite abit) to have adapts made if there was a sage. I never see Defiler books drops, but I looted 2 to 3 mystic books last night. I think i have maybe 2 post 40 adepts spells. I can say the lvl 50 pally i was with and the lvl 46(47) Templar said their heal spells did less as well. I do not know what spells they use. Kaida lvl 49 Defiler <div></div>

Not sure if this technically falls under the healing spells, but the healing part of my pet-buff (Boon of the lifeless) has increased as well :did something between 40 and 50 before patch now heals for 70 per tick.<div></div>

question: how much higher does the defenders wis have to be than the attacker's int to completely nullify damage, if its possible? Like, lets say I have 92 int. How much wisdom would an enemy have to have to completely mitigate my damage? Or is it just not possible?

Good for kiting, not so good for traditional pet combat. Note that these are my observations, and the increased aggro seems to be caused by the healing, but I can't be sure</span><div></div>

Hm... that sucks, whats really needed is to have those pets actually use taunt... or maybe turn the HoT into a reactive heal that doesn't generate as much hate?

Thank you for clarifying Moorgard. I'll wait to see the other changes before getting into too much analysis over this one. =) <div></div>

We're switching back to standard combat rules until the next round of changes is ready to go. Thanks for the feedback on this round. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<DIV>standard meaning before ANY of the combat changes? or just to before this latest round? And does that mean what I think it means? next round being priest and mage balance?</DIV><p>Message Edited by Miral on <span class=date_text>05-13-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:25 PM</span>
