<DIV>Again (26 Coercer) with both persistent buffs up (12 hour, concentration required buffs), haste and mana regen.  Tank will pull, bring mobs to group, mobs go whizzing by tank and start beating the daylights out of the coercer.  Coercer is just standing there back from the group a bit.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Another example, coercer standing in sight of tank in Nek, but at some distance.  Tank goes running off through the woods, draws skeleton aggro, keeps running away from direction of coercer.  Skeletons immediately upon aggroing tank, turn and run straight for coercer, pummelling them into the ground.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now while I think buffs should draw aggro if casted in combat, the immediate aggro that is drawn seems a bit much, and certainly seems more frequest than previous experiences.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Would you consider toning down buff aggro on buffs that are already up prior to engagement?</DIV>

I am a defiler and I duo with a wizard.  Group buff is my method of taunt.  So that gives you an idea of buff agro.  I don't know if it is intended to be this way but it has become my duo strats.

Yah but he is not referring to casting the buffs.  He means that simply by having the buffs in effect, he gets automatic aggro.  BTW to the OP it is your mana regen buffs, and not the others, that cause the problem.  We have tested this in my guild and know it for a fact. It's extremely unfair to enchanters. If a tank proximity pulls, all mobs will run right past her and directly for the enchanter. Given how fragile a mage is to begin with, it is really unfair to say that any mob that aggro's the group will automatically take a swing at the enchanter first.  The other class that suffers this problem is the troubador, and again, it seems to be the mana regen song that is the culprit.  We used to think our troub was just a clutz.. eventually we realized that it was never his fault when we had stray agro.. other people would agro the mob and it would ignore them and run straight for the troub. These things are only comical for most content, as you can taunt/heal fast enough to keep the chanter alive.  But when a named mob spawns nearby or agro's unexpectedly and runs straight past the entire group to one-shot the chanter, you realize how unfair they are. <div></div>

<P>I'm not sure which buff causes this, but every single pull in Nek castle last night was leaving me with slivers of health.  Please look at the aggro generated by the buffs.  I don't mind getting beat up every once in awhile, but it shouldn't be a caster's role to tank....</P> <P>Buffs I normally keep active on a group:</P> <P>Power of suggestion; Signet of Insight; Breeze; Refresh; Bravado</P>
