I can't wait to login and try out the new features. I don't even know where to start to be honest.

I do have one dissapointment. I read the headline about new crafted items and was initially pleased as punch - that was until I could find no mention of anything added to Sages. To be honest, I currently am dissapointed in the sage profession - it is so one dimensional (actually half dimensional).

At least I can adventure and have fun - and I do intend to have fun. As dissapointed as I am in my Sage, I love my earth shattering Kabooms from my wizard.

I'm looking forward to trying them all out myself. I think they changes are great, and definately welcomed.

I'm a bit confused as to why tailors got hex dolls, as in comparison to armorers they already get bags and a whole extra set of cloth armor, and they actually have recipie books for 26-28, 36-38, 46-48 while armorers have no books in those ranges. Armorers need more recipies, and need them more than tailors needed them.

As far as sages are concenred, I was hoping that eventually Sony would implement some very fitting extras for your class. I think a cool addition for sages would be ablity to craft player maps for dungeons and areas that you dont get a default map for. Take blackburrow for instance; whouldn't it be sweet if players such as sages could craft maps for those areas?

Casters are not gonna start buying crafted goods because they have procs on em. They want int on thier items, and currently optimizing the stats on an item or making them even remotely close to the int found on some dropped items is not possible.

Again, the new things are great! I'm totally looking forward to them, and I appreciate the love comming from the buffs. Bug fixes, however, are still a big problem. Alchemist poisons are still worse and more expensive than NPC bought, and now NPC's get 5 charges on thier wares (huge dissapointment). Woodworkers still make expensive and inferior arrows in small quantities. Totems do not stack and break during combat which is a huge annoyance. Further, shields do not scale properly. Crude shields have the same armor class as pristine, except they get that AC SIX levels earlier. New stuff is always fun, but there never seems to be the needed attention given to bugs and class balance. With that said, fixing bugged and unbalanced content is the same as adding new content.

Message Edited by Shunidar on 03-17-2005 07:09 AM
