<DIV>Is it just me or has the Test section been over run by whiners and gripers?  I really think SOE should consider making this whole section (or most of it) private to testers (seems like you could programatically figure out who of these players actually has an [active] account on test).  It is hard to carry on a decent conversation about chages to Test when hoards of 1-Star rating Whiners are running around, taking every effort to shoot down open, constructive discussions.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just my 2cp worth.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Rondari</DIV><p>Message Edited by Rondari on <span class=date_text>02-11-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:15 PM</span>

We do have this board, which is screened. Given that, I'm not so sure that the overrunning of the other tester boards is all that important. Most of the attention for bugs and tester feedback is here - a forum that all of those one star posters probably don't even know about. I do think it would probably be easy enough to programmatically give access to anyone who had, say, a level 10 on Test, but this method appears to work too.

<DIV>I agree that this board is a respite from the other 2 open test boards (which is why I started this topic here).  However the Dev feedback board (which is where SOE seems to want us to place our comments) is an open forum and despite the clearly stated rules at the top, most of the feedback in those boards is from non-testers.  How helpful can that really be?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Rondari</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>p.s.  I was thinking more along the lines of played time (i.e. More than 2-4 hours of play time per week to see these boards).</DIV><p>Message Edited by Rondari on <span class=date_text>02-11-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:42 PM</span>

Think of those boards as smoke and mirrors.
