<DIV>There is much speculation on the boards about the ability to complete the quests to betray to Kelethin as the Trainers have been removed from the game and the quests may not be completed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Would SOE / the Development Team please indicate when this quest line will be fixed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><STRONG>Please leave this thread for an official response as there are many other threads in respect to this however I am unable to find and SOE / Development response.</STRONG></DIV>

<P>Scott Hartsman already answered this question in the General forum.</P> <P>The tread is titled "Very Disappointed about lack of Fae Betrayal".  On page 3 of this thread (<A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=gameplay&message.id=137489&page=3" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=gameplay&message.id=137489&page=3</A>), the fourth post from the bottom, you will see your official response.</P> <P>Included with this post is the complete text as posted by Scott and was taken from the above location.  His comments are in yellow.</P> <P><FONT color=#ffff00>Just confirming - The ability for Fae to betray citizenship is something that we had hoped to have in for launch, but was never on the list of things that were guaranteed, and shouldn't have been put in the FAQ.  That's my fault, and I am sorry for missing the mention in there.  I'll get the FAQ part addressed for now, at least.</FONT></P> <DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff00>The ability for them to betray is coming, and you'll be able to read about it first on the In Testing forums.</FONT></DIV></DIV>

Um, how you you miss something as big as this.  Thats like driving past Mt Rushmore and missing Abraham Lincoln's head. The fact that there were so many players making posts about what class their Fae would be....and a lot were SKs or Necros or other evil classes, shows you that there was massive interest in Fae betrayal.

<DIV>I did search the forums prior to my post........</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have a Dark Elf Coercer that I wish to betray <STRONG>TO</STRONG> Kelethin. I have spent a great deal of time doing the faction and getting to the last part of the quest only to find that it can't be completed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As I mentioned there are lots of posts about this but none that I can see from SOE or the Development Team. Given the amount of effort required to get to this point I think it would be nice to get their response.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I will avoid making any sarcastic response to <A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/view_profile?user.id=172235" target=_blank><SPAN>standupwookie</SPAN></A>'s insult as I guess it would be misread.</DIV> <P>Message Edited by Amphiber on <SPAN class=date_text>11-29-2006</SPAN><SPAN class=time_text>03:15 PM</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by Amphiber on <span class=date_text>11-29-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:15 PM</span>

<P>Here's a hint.  =P  If you can't betray away from Kelethin because that quest line hasn't yet been implemented, then it is logical to assume that the opposite quest line is also still under development.</P> <P>Why is this logical?  Because whatever mechanism needs to be coded for Fae to leave Kelethin must be reversable so Fae can betray away and then repledge their allegience.</P> <P>Ergo, it will be done at the same time that you can betray from Kelethin.</P>

There have actually been a couple of replies from SOE about the removable of Class Trainers from Kelethin. It was a bug and they7 finally managed to get them back into Kelethin on Thursday I believe. Therefore you should be able to complete the quest now.
