It's hardly proc'ing at all.And when it procs, then it doesn't seem to prevent from anything. All in all it looks like it may prevent like 1 indirect AoE per full raiding week. As Master I.2 possibilities:a) This is a BUG and not working as intended.b) It really was intended to change 'Amazing Reflexes' from a permanent buff to "maybe prevent from one indirect AoE once within 20 hours of raiding". But then keeping the old name is the BUG. The only thing 'amazing' about these 'reflexes' is that they are 'amazing useless'.

<DIV>Urgl is completely right.</DIV> <DIV>It rarely procs, and when it does, 5 secs duration is not long enough to save you from AoE effects. (the smart players will have already run out of AoE range).</DIV> <DIV>It certainly does NOT proc at 28%.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>We've beaten this dead horse over and over again on the brigand forums, but sad to say, Urgl, no one at SOE really seems to care what we think.</DIV>

<DIV>On the positive side, with the Tenure AA it lasts 5.7 seconds of not doing much at all! It's truely useless and can't be depended upon in any way. Even when you know the AE is 10 seconds away, it is absolutely useless.</DIV>

<DIV>It's cool though there was like 5 posts Ninja'd in this thread about what people think............. owned by the moderator, to bad SoE just could care a less about what we think <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV><p>Message Edited by Akacia on <span class=date_text>11-27-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:44 PM</span>

<DIV>'It does proc. It does work. It IS useful'</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Its proc- yes, sometimes.</DIV> <DIV>It works- IF it proc -yes</DIV> <DIV>It is useful - NO! .. u cant rely on a proc. Especially on a 25%/5second proc (neither on 38%/5.7 seconds - maxed by AA and Master). Its only useful on moderate AE which u can eat anyway. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I dont want the old AR back- but pls change it to something useful, not depending on luck and spaming CAs.</DIV> <P>Message Edited by Landra on <SPAN class=date_text>11-29-2006</SPAN> <SPAN class=time_text>12:42 AM</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by Landra on <span class=date_text>11-29-2006</span> <span class=time_text>12:43 AM</span>

<DIV>Sellies, you seem to be one of the very very few who think this ability is good.  You dont seem to understand that anything that's based on luck is not reliable, and therefore, cannot be considered useful.  </DIV> <DIV>It MAY keep you from being blasted by an AoE every few blue moons, but you cannot rely on it.  You cannot go into a raid and think "wow, all I have to do is pray to Zek and maybe he'll grant me a proc of my aoe immunity!" and actually expect to survive AoE's.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You have to joust them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>Like i have posted many times on the Brigand forum </P> <P>Its useless in its current form</P> <P>I have NO issues in jousting - in fact i dont actually mind it </P> <P>Solution</P> <P>(1) Put it on a timer eg recastable 100% AOE immune every 5 minutes or so </P> <P>(2) Take it away and give us something else please</P> <P>Thats all any raid brigand wants - i love my class - will always love my brigand - jousting aoe's is no big deal - having an ancient teaching that was extremely powerful even overpowered if you wish to take the easy mode root to killing mobs like the matron and then turning it into a joke is the issue</P> <P>I would trade it for another CA or a DPS proc any day of the week personally</P>

<blockquote><hr>urgl wrote:[...]All in all it looks like it may prevent like 1 indirect AoE per full raiding week..<hr></blockquote>Let me correct this: It is looks more like 1-2 AE-preventions per 3 hours raid. For _some_ raids which have mobs with _weak_ AEs only, that you could have resisted/healed anyways. Some other AEs feel like they are unsresistable by AR (e.g. Shredder).Too bad you can't see AR proc in your log (the same is valid for "Befuddle Adversaries" btw.). So it's hard to get a correct statistics. And still: 1 prevention per 3 hours raid is just nothing.<p>Message Edited by urgl on <span class=date_text>12-05-2006</span> <span class=time_text>07:54 AM</span>
