Constant lockups after patch on 10/10

<DIV>After last night's patch to fix the particles on Test, the client is randomly locking up.  I see no common event that is triggering it.  It has happened this morning 3x in the last 1/2 hour, and the last time all I was doing was browsing the broker in QH.  The client becomes unresponsive, though the cursor still moves.  You cannot alt-tab out, use windows key, or ctl-alt-delete, you have to do a hard restart.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have no custom UIs and my specs are nVidia 6600, 2gb RAM, Intel 3.8ghz processor, single core.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This only started after last night's patch (I locked up within 10 minutes of logging in after the patch).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Makes the game completely unplayable as I can't do any hunting or crafting without locking up during.  And yes, it happened in a crafting instance too, the Graystone one where the guy has a ponytail.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Going to try to turn off all my particle effects in the config and see if that helps, but I really need them on for the glowies.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>I don't know if I'm encountering the same problem as you.  What I've noticed recently, though I'm not exactly sure when it first started, is that sometimes after zoning or when I'm riding griffin, keyboard input doesn't work for a time.  If I use the mouse, I  can still turn and move and us the on-screen buttons to access the various GUI components, but I can't use the keyboard movement keys, bring up the map, etc....  After a few seconds the keyboard will become responsive again.  It's a fairly annoying and recent problem. </P>

Same problem here!  I can get to the char select screen and select my char and it starts loading but after that everything blank and I have to reboot.This only happens on the Test Server.  Antonia Bayle (the server I most often play on) is fine.Thanks for a great game!
