<DIV>I don't know....hope not....just started an alt on the road of weapon smithing....something different from a jeweler and a provisioner. Got to say though that there appears to be FAR too many weapons in the game. My main is level 70 and the gear that drops from non raid mobs, by and large, gets vendored as their broker price is pretty much the same <U>before</U> tax. The only stuff worth considering broking is epic drops or raid loot, much of which will be non trade in any case. <P>So, when it comes to crafting I would guess the only stuff worth considering making is imbued unless it is to order or for guild use.</P> <P>I know this is a little off topic but I think that SOE could take a look at weapons and make crafted items different in some way to loot drops. Maybe even reduce the mountain of gear swilling around the game. Perhaps, and here is an off the wall idea, they could introduce the idea of "salvage"? Take a loot drop and modify it... Give hilts and blades separate stats.... Comments?</P></DIV>

<DIV>Adourment for weapons is on the way with EoF, should add some difference between player made and drops.</DIV>

<DIV>With any luck they'll keep the enhancements to a minimum so they don't become sickeningly overpowered.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1) If a weapon has a proc, with the enhancement stack with it - giving a weapon 2 chances to proc?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2) If the armor is imbued, will it stack with the existing imbues (breastplates and legs currently have imbuing for crafted armor)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm hoping the system will be similar to EQ1's (LDoN) system where you got a special item, whether it's a fabled drop, mythical, rare, legendary... who knows (hopefully they'll be tiered, quested, dropped and even diety based) </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It would add a level of uniqueness to character development, as long as they don't get silly and make items that add 200 hps per armor slot, or +10% (stackable) crit spell chance...</DIV>

They also stated that adornments will be able to be added to any existing item, even dropped items. I'm looking for the exact post, I seem to recal it being from one of the Dev Chats, however I don't have it bookmarked here at work. The player in the chat asked "so does that mean I can add something to my drakescale pauldrons?" and the dev responded with an affirmative. So I expect that those classes that can add adornments are going to be busy little crafters for a while to come yet.<div></div>

Yep I read that too, they are trying to make it so everything that drops, or is crafted will have one slot. But is that one slot on my Mastercrafted Imbued. I just wonder will an Item be able to be imbued and then Placed with an adornment cause that might make or comon crafted gear worth selling again, and make mastercrafted preaty darn good. But if it's one or the other then the whole imbueing system will need to be revamped as well, cause instead of getting 30 health back from my armor for a tiny bit I would definalty take better MIT. SO there is a toss up. But if you could make it with the imbued and then add alittle MIT that would be sweet.

What I recall reading was, "metal studs to add to your leather, creating studded leather, or enchanted embers to add fire damage to your sword." Which is to say, I doubt the <STRONG>only thing</STRONG> they will be adding as far as adornments go is a set of metal studs for leather gear <EM>only</EM>, and a handful of enchanted embers for swords <EM>only</EM>.</P> <P>No, I think those were just examples.</P>
