After reading and looking at all the notes from the test server about guild raid re-vamp, one thing I did not see, (maybe i overlooked) was there going to be any guild xp gain now for doing the guild raids? Or is this strictly to teach a guild and its members how to raid? It has been somewhat of a disapointment to go in and do these and not gain any kind of reward out of them, whether it be loot or guild xp.

I don't know about Guild XP, but seeing as they're introducing new armors of all levels through them, I'm interested in seeing what they have in store for level 70+ raid mobs.

Moorgard gives a pretty good description of their intentions here. It does say that it will give guilds another way to gain status. I'm assuming that means guild xp.Nill

Hopefully, we will find out this weekend. The first one we tested, we couldnt finish..It was during the time the menders were down. Hard to kill when youre naked.. =)

Last saturday, we tried another...had some problems with starting it (in other words, they were broke and we couldnt start it). QA said that problem was being worked on this week soooo, hopefully, TNK will get to complete one this weekend.

I can say, we didnt get guild status for any of the epics that we did kill nor, did we get guild status for the couple of named epics we killed doing the 'quest'. Leads me to believe that either guild status will be awarded on 'completing' the raid or, there is no guild status awarded at all.

Sunrayn, leader of The Noble Kindred--Test

I am ery excited about this addition to the game.

Anyone on test have an idea of how long each raid is? The reason I ask is that I usually can only play for 1-2 hours and this is the reason I have not joined a raiding guild (and RL with my wife and young daughter). I am lvl 68 but am resolving myself to never raid the highend raid zones due to this.

My hopes is that this gives me and the small guild I am in a chance to raid for fun and some upgrades.

I think we were in the one about 3 hours and didnt finish..of course, it was our first time in and we were testing the zone, discussing how tough/easy mobs were, and not trying for speed.

Guess the best bet is just to wait till it hits live and try it out.
