<div></div><div></div><i>- Small raid zone: 8 hour fail timer | 3 day, 20 hour success timer</i>So the question here is how does this take into account the differences in zones like Feerrott's Meeting of the Minds versus Zek's Abandoned Mine (Tremblar).  Previously MotM was on an 18 hour timer and dropped wood frequently while Tremblar was on a 36 hour timer and almost always dropped metal. Will:a) Zones whose lockouts are being increased have a higher chance at metal.orb) Not all zones are having lockouts changed.orc) No loot changes, just longer lockout (evil laughter in background at Sony offices). Also, what would Rognog be?  In this case I think it'd be a small raid zone, so the above 3 options would apply, except probably less likely to drop master.(I use T5 since it has a variety of lockouts.)Another note: If "small raid zone" means X2 (as opposed to wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am style boss killings), then a 6-day lockout on MotM would be...amusing.Or maybe the notes only applied to T7, in which case the Crab is getting its lockout doubled and everything else more or less unchanged (and a 12-hour failure timer on Chel'drak, whee! But no more 6-day failure on Ascent x4, for those that need it.) <div></div><p>Ah...but what about Nizara? Formerly 3-day lockout on a heroic party zone with some epic encounters.... what would that be? Hrm.<span class="time_text"> Starting to hope for (B), though (A) wouldn't surprised me (with scaled down loot rate).</span></p><p>Message Edited by Gertack on <span class=date_text>07-27-2006</span> <span class=time_text>12:12 PM</span>

<DIV>This seems like an odd change for some of the smaller instances. The Tears Grifter instances in Maj'Dul currently have no success lockout other than the NPC only giving out a quest every 30 minutes. Changing this from zero lockout to a 4 hour lockout seems kind of.....harsh.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Some of these instances can be done in less than 10 minutes and they provide no rewards other than the tokens and some change. Is a 4 hour lockout on these really needed?</DIV>

I want to know what's considered a small solo zone. Would something even like the Lair of the Necromancer which currently can be done every half an hour also have such a long lockout? There's a single boss and a handful of mobs there and that's it. Hardly worthy of a 4 hour lockout. <div></div>

<DIV>Why? I am sure they will couch it in terms of this or that.....but my take is that it is to limit zone farming. Taking away content for the win. T5 raiding was a blast with the daily zones mixed in. At least the farmers won't prosper in The Forbidden Sepulcher anymore.</DIV>
