<div></div>Hello I was just wondering if there has been any thought about giving one of the freeport classes (possible one of the mages) a call of heroe type of spell. On the pvp servers it makes a big difference in that a group could be at the bottom of a dungeon and could summon a groupmate down, whereas a freeport group would have to fight all the way up and possibly face opposing faction camping. I just thought I would throw the idea out there and see if you have given any thought to implementing a freeport side version of this spell. You could say the spell transcribers discovered a new spell for whatever class it is.anyhoo fee;l free to bash me for bringing this up.dangit i think i posted this in the wrong place. If it is please feel free to move it to the appropriate area for future ideas or whatever.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Ellasar on <span class=date_text>07-25-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:57 AM</span>

call of heroe does not require yuou to be dead. You summon the group member from anywhere in the zone to your group.<div></div>

<DIV>And give swashy the brigand debuffs for pvp server raiding, and rangers ice comet to match assasins dps, and warlocks fd to help with agro control and umm lets see what other ridiculous thing we can come up with.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Coal 70 Conj</DIV> <DIV>Vox Server</DIV>

<DIV>How about potions and totems that give anyone ANY spell in the game.  A potion that lets you FD or Sunami or Harm Touch.   LOL :smileytongue:</DIV>

The point is in EQ1, necros were given corpse summons (you know... evil version of call of hero?) which they do not have here (and understandably so, since we do not have corpse drags or anything that will move a corpse as things stand).

<DIV>Although i sympathize with the original poster thats just the way it is. Certain classes have abilities that do not transcend faction. For instance charm and mem wipe are exclusive to coercers which qeynosians don't have. CoH for conjurors which freeportians dont have.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>CoH is an inconvience. Qeynosians lacking mem wipe and charm can make certain fights much more difficult.  Raids trying to split vyemm and alzid. fights where charming adds for extra dps is a viable tactic like the nizara final mob etc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Qeynosians also lack alot of the hate buffs. while dirges are neutral. coercers, and assasins hate transfers can hurt. Swashies are good so that may help a bit.</DIV>

here is an idea screw necros that seemingly always get the love and give it to another casting class, a class that isnt always required on a raid or group.<div></div>

How about we don't balance the game around PvP.

People ask for the unique abilities of classes to be shared across the bored, crying for balance. Weeks later you will see a post by the same person claiming there is no uniqueness to any class, that they all do the same things.<div></div>

I am on both sides of this story.  I really think useful, non-combat spells and effects should be shared across alignment.  But at the same time i don't think giving Something to another class just to make this so is the right thing to do.What i do believe, is SOE needs to be more dilegent when examining a spell and it's effects.   Call of the Hero, is a perfect fit for a summoner in flavor.  But does it increase the summoners combative capabilities or does it just make them much more useful to people.   I think if a quatlity evaluation is done for spells like this in future, attempts can be made to give these styles of spells and skills to a nuetral aligned class. I think that would be very benificial to the game..<div></div>

Take Call of Hero, but what do you want to give to the Conj, that necros have?  I really dont see how you could line up FD to be a conj spell. I could see them giving us a Elemental Charm (NO possible use for that spell ever), or consumption....ooh that spell is [Removed for Content] I really want that <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.  Yea thoes two are the best necro 50-60 spell to give to conj <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> even though the <div></div>
