View Full Version : Menders Broken?
Not sure if this is true or not but the rumor on test right now is that the reason the menders are not repairing anymore is cause this is the new penalty for death. Is this true? Another rumor was that there is another repair system that is being put in place that the current one was removed until they put it in. Is this true. I have done searches for mender broke and what not and found nothing so far. Why I ask is that when I asked the QA person on test if the rumors are true or what was going on I got no response at all from a /say /tell or in test channel. I guess going to kill an level 55+ epic x2 mob was more important than answering anyone that was asking what was up with the menders. I guess I can't see how hard it would have been to say they are changing but can't give out any info at this time or they are broken and we are aware.... heck anything would have been better than just ignoring the test channel, says or tells.I know we don't have support on test but if something is broke or not working that affects the gameplay that much you would at least think there would have been a MOTD or something warning people.Any information would be greatly appreciated. This is second day I logged in and they are still not working. Thanks <div></div>

1.) It's a rumour because after being asked the same question 45 times in an hour, some test regulars become wiseasses. It kind of goes with the territory.2.) QA actually did respond several times to the Test channel tonight saying that they were aware of the problem, that the right people were working on a fix, and that in the meantime we just had to hang tight. There was a patch last night that screwed them up. It's the weekend. Somehow I imagine the bulk of the people in the office don't actually work a 7-day workweek.<div></div>

I saw tonight on test,a developer was online giving out repair kits. I can not imagine that he would do so if it was working as intended. It is a bug and it has been reported. Some things take time to fix :smileywink:

<P>Happily, the Norrathian Menders Local 518 all returned to work this evening after their brief work stoppage. Naked adventurers all over Norrath promptly ran back to their local smithy and re-equipped, much to the joy and happieness of all.</P>
