View Full Version : New clothing issues
Great job on finally adding some clothing and look forward to seeing more variation.However...There are a number of bugs (reported in game too) with the new items on males at least.1) Footwear shows through - If youre wearing boots then equip the new clothing your equipped boots will show alongside the included boot graphic with the clothing creating a horrid clipping mess.2) The new clothing doesnt cover the glove slot - Not sure if this was a deliberate omission but it would be nice to have the clothing cover over gloves aswell so we dont have to un-equip items all the time.Other than that nicely done.

cant forget the "bent over at the hips postitions" like climbing, clouds, carpets etc, and having your [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] clipping through them. gg <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>
Regarding the boot clipping, I find this is only an issue, if you have cloth simulation turned off, in your options, but this may be only with female characters.

<DIV>My halfling looks god awful in the dresses, because of rather thick thighs and big feet in big white cloth boots. The whole effect is of her wearing big white sweat socks under the dress... and honestly the thighs just do not compliment the dress... guess I shoulda done some more thighmaster exercises!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Please make the new clothes replace boots/gloves as well, just like the level 30 status dress does! Give us some pretty shoes (or simple shoes, whatever) and no gloves... well maybe a lacey glove... wait.. .getting distracted now lol!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Honestly, the shoes have to go tho. Nothing like my pally struttin around in the dress with her big plate boots on!</DIV>

While a nice thought, it would be even more of a pain than it's worth! </P> <P>Only way additional clothing slot items would work is if they gave us a completely different slot system for causal wear. (something that only overwrites your armor graphic when you are in a city zone, perhaps?)</P> <P>Since right now, the more items you have to equip or un-equip just means more items you have to store and / or carry around with you. </P> <P>I would settle for them just fixing the Foot / Bracer and Glove Graphics from not showing while "A Casual Wear" Chest Item is equipped. </P> <P>Oh and the issue is the same whether the items are plate / chain / leather or cloth .. each one shows something through the causal dress outfits .. for the Foot / Bracer & Glove Graphic. <BR></P>

I don't know.. I like the idea of tailors making different slots just for looks.. I mean I freakin buy T7 legendary armor/weapons just cause they look cool.. like that bone-scythe type 2 hander.. I mean I'm a [Removed for Content]' mystic.. and it sucks for me but it just looks awesome and I wear it without any top armor and my awesome lookin pants <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>
