This new broker window IMO sucks. Please give us the abilty to open a sell window and the market window to be able to compare our prices with whats on the market.

Someone doesn't know how to use the new broker window....

Either that or has an extremely short term memory. I find the new broker window to be extremely fast at finding and comparing prices. I mean, all you have to do is click a single button down on the bottom to have it automatically check the prices for you, then go back to the sell tab to change/check prices.

Not being a crafter, this is a much better system for me. Lets me get my money and put new items in my sell boxes without having to go to my inn every single time. I've managed to sell more within these past few days then I have over a few months

I agree with the OP. I don't care for flipping through tabs every time I want to search for an item, then price that item.

EQ2interface.com. I guarantee within the month someone will have a better designed broker window on that site.

Let the UI builders in the fan base design one that puts them in two seperate windows.
If you double click an item in your broker boxes it automaticly goes to the Sell window and looks it up for you. What's so hard about that?

I adore the new broker.

Some day perhaps the minimum and maximum search criteria will actually work.

Some day perhaps we'll be able to search by Plate, Chain, Leather, or Cloth.

I know.....I'm dreaming.

Someone doesn't know how to use the new broker window....

No I know how to use the new broker window. It is a pain to keep flipping through the two windows to set up your prices, it is a pain to remember to click on the lowest persons item to see how much they are selling it for so you can list your item. The only good thing about this window is it tells you that you can get more money from selling the item to a vendor ( and 80% of the people STILL list the item for less)

It would be nice not to half to go through all the hassle just to list the stuff.

And for those that "adore" the new system have you used any of the previouscustom UI that all you had to do was click on the item you wanted to sell hit the find button and bam there it was at original price no 20% added, just list and move on? Ahhhhhhhh those were the days!

Message Edited by jonathanc29 on 06-18-2006 07:01 AM

And double click again takes you back to the sell window?

Actually the new interface isnt that bad once you get used to it - the only thing I would like to see is more drop down menu functionality (ie - rt click) - it would be great to be able to set price from a right click as well as its current uses.

Btw for those of you who use or dabble in custom UIs - the Fetish Nightfall Broker window has a multi panel displayon it with alot of search and save refinements. Absolutely incredible work and makes the whole process as painless as possible!

When you click on an item, it shows you how much the seller has put it up for as well as how much money is being taken out for the broker.

Pretty much everything you need to price something is there already.

I use the old fashion style calculator... I keep one by the computer for these purposes Helps me determine how much I want to sell for (since it gives me the vendor price) so I can maintain at least some of my profit margin
