<DIV>The new broker is very awkward to use.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>When we sold from the market board, there was button BROWSE PRICES. And we could click on that and check prices before pricing our items. We could have our market board price up at the same time as the Browse broker prices.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>NOw we have to exit the sell and price window in order to browse prices on the brokers.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In the age of compute technology I find this a step into the dark ages as now you will have to keep a pen and pencil list of your items before you browse the broker.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Come on -- couldn't you people define a better interface that didn't require a pen and penci and note pad to be used on the side!!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Well know you </DIV>
Well aren't you friendly today. /boggleRight clicking an item in the sell tab will give you the option to search for it automatically. I agree it's not perfect that you'll have to go back to your sell tab afterwards, but at least your item remains selected when you come back.

Can you still see the sell price(i.e. the price before the broker fee) when you search the broker for this reason? Or do you have to click on each item individually to see that?
You have to click the items individually. On the bright side, you get an indication if you price under what the NPC vendor would give you. Shame, I regularly buy those underpriced items. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Exactly, eBay doesn't protects it's millions of stupid customers buying overpriced junk, either, and is still wildly popular. <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

All idiot proofing should be eliminated. Every time you idtot proof something they make a better idiot.

My low level Fury makes good coin with arbitrage. I can't believe they are doing that. its not hard to stop by a vendor to see how much something sells for; why punish those who do?<div></div>

They did the same thing in EQ1 -- killed crafting so you could only make money by adventuring. In EQ1 too they nerfed the prices of selling to an NPC Vendor -- you actually had to sell below cost to an NPC Vendor -- same stunt happening here. I wonder if they imported the designed of that piece of dirty tricks to work on EQ2 -- sounds like the same mind at work!!<BR><p>Message Edited by Maroger on <span class=date_text>06-13-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:56 PM</span>

I have to agree. Get rid of the NPC value indicator!Let the market be free; if people are too lazy to go to an NPC vendor to sell, then let those who want to do the heavy lifting make a small profit. DO NOT include the buyback price indicator.<div></div>
