<DIV>Hi all, i hope this is the right place for this question</DIV> <DIV>I have a little Ratonga Warden on Live, sitting and waiting for the new betrayal system to go live so I can Betray to Qeynos.</DIV> <DIV>I wil be staying as a Warden with him, and know that all his spells/CA's will drop to app1 quality when I do betray.</DIV> <DIV>The question I have, is when does this change happen?</DIV> <DIV>Do the skills drop as soon as I leave Freeport and enter Haven,?</DIV> <DIV>If I was to stay in Exile for a while, would any spell upgrades I make be lost when I join Qeynos?</DIV>

<DIV>My understanding is that your arts will become app1 after you have become a citizen of your new city. The last step of the betrayal quest is to speak to a trainer and choose your final class. After you make that choice is when your arts will be reset.</DIV>

Your spells dont reset until you are on the very last step of betrayal and you are sent to talk to your 'new' class trainer. At that point, all your spells are reset to Ap1. I betrayed from a mystic to defiler on test and this is how it worked.</div>

I play a dirge atm. Will i be able to switch to a brigand, assassin etc... or only be able to switch to troub or stay a dirge? <div></div>

You can only change to your counterpart of your current class, providing that is a class option of the city you are betraying to. So you'll only be able to become a troub, or remain a dirge.
