Just where are Knight-Captain Mendel and Gil McMartin hiding??? I wandered around Commonlands for a while looking for McMartin: no luck.  I took out my Ranger and wandered all over Antonica with tracking on and never found Mendel. Also the guards have never heard of  him. <span>:smileymad</span> DrTEE <div></div>

Gil McMartin can be found near the West Freeport gate.  Not sure why your lack of finding him means the quest is not working.  My dark elf bruiser managed to betray just fine.<div></div>

<DIV>I think the reference to Knight-Captain Mendel is a mistake, it should be Gol M'Tor who is the sabatage guy for people wanting to build there freeport faction, you can find him along the road from the North Qeynos gate. The welcome to Haven book correctly directs you to this guy, it is only the chap in haven who misleads you.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>However as a 14th level bruiser I must say the sabotage quests are very very difficult ( though i have been trying the hardest of them) they involve instances with even con mobs often with flanges on there con bars, which I can only just take out though mostly the fight goes their way. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also if you betray before you have chosen your subclass in a tradeskill instance you will be stuck as there is no way to complete the subclass quests. On test the population is minute and you can rarely  find adept spells on the broker and there never seems to be any tradeskillers around to make stuff, all of which means all my combat arts are app 1s with no way of upgrading them, which means I can't get any edge on the mobs. all in all it's going to be a long time before I ever see the inside of Qeynos.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Misanthrope</DIV> <DIV>14th level Bruiser - test</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Crawdad </DIV> <DIV>70th level Assassin - guk</DIV>

So, am i understanding this correctly that some race/class combos arent possible now? i.e ogre swash, as i would have to be a brigant from creation, and that class chioce would stick with me after betryal?
