Please say yes. Not being able to sell on brokers at all will put a definite damper on Exile being a full time alignment choice for those on the pvp servers.

There was a mention of a fence in the patch notes.

- Haven does not provide the plush lifestyle of Qeynos or Freeport--You'll miss out on some of aspects of the city life such as writs, brokers (though you'll have use of a FENCE), player housing (apart from Maj'Dul), or city-based rewards.

While you are in exile, you loose a lot of benifits, and I don't see why one of those wouldn't, and shouldn't, be selling on the merchant. But we will see :smileywink:

At present, no.

Whether this will change when the new consignment system is implimented, I'm not sure. But no, you cannot sell items via a broker in Haven.

What I intend to test is, can an Exile with positive faction with either city use the brokers in that city? If they can, would this include using the new consignment system to sell in that city?

To be honest, I don't really see why Exiles shouldn't have their own broker. If they did, however, they shouldn't also have the two black market brokers.

Put it this way, if things remain as they are right now, Haven on the PVP server is likely to be bustling all day long with /auctions and /oocs selling wares. As I said elsewhere, it'll be like EC in EQ all over again.

Doesn't really bother me that much, to be frank. My PVP Exile isn't going to spend any huge time trying to sell goods, he's going to spend most of it trying to kill other players.

And, other than your die-hard roleplayers, I can't see anyone on PVE servers staying Exile for too long.

I betrayed from Qeynos this weekend and I had items on the broker when I betrayed. Once I got to haven I was able to access my sale itesm from the fence, made a sale, collected the cash, and put up more items for sale.

I am not sure if this is intended or if it is a bug becasue I already had items listed when i betrayed.

tricksyOne wrote:Wont you be able to sell from a maj'dul house?

Thats what i would assume.BUT you'd have to be able to do the majdul quests (or have a crapload of coins purchased from the broker) to be able to buy a house if i recall correctly. I may be wrong...john

As of today Exiles are not longer allowed to list new items for sa,le on the Broker. If you had items up for sale before you betrayed you can still remove them from the broker and receive cash for them when they are sold but you can no longer sell any new items onthe broker.
