<DIV>Why do you guys at sony have a geniune, blood drenched hatred for the Bruiser class?   What did we ever do to you?   If you want me to quit the game just cancel my account, stop nerfing my toon little by little every single day.   I have enough headaches in real life.   </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>   It's bad enough bruisers have to quit constantly because no raid guilds want them, but with these upcomming nerfs, I'll be surprised if theres a single guild that has more than 1 bruiser in their lineup anywhere.  You talk about Balance?   YOu say all these nerfs better Balance our class?   Are you serious?   You can't be.   It's insane.   We have almost NO use in raids.... and now we are going to have even less than almost none.  yes we can do some dps, but so can anyone who has a dirge, illusionist, inquisitor, and other good dps buffing toons in group with them.   you can give a troubador a good group and have him be top dps in a raid with the proper buffs..... so don't tell me we are overpowered.   </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>   We went the entire Desert of Flames expansion with no significant nerfs.... (None at all that I can remember)... so why NOW are we suddenly overpowered?   DIdn't you guys CREATE the spells and abilities that people get?   Why is it that after a year of leaving a class alone, you decide that they are totally whacked out of proportion an dneed a complete overhaul to be made even more worthless!?   It's very wrong to do.     My bruiser is very near and dear to me... and I'm not going to just "Roll" another toon.  I am going to whine and complain every single day... no ten times a day until you either scrap LU24, or give us something BACK in RETURN for this atrocity.   Seriously... we are being hit with like 10 nerfs in this coming Live Update.   Sit down and talk to someone who plays a bruiser as their main.......    and really HEAR what they have to say.   It's not fair.   </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>    Think about these changes from a raiding bruisers point of view......   We don't tank... we aren't top notch DPS, and we have almost NO raid utility..... so if your going to take away the "Average" dps we have... then at least provide us with some Descent Raid utility.   Maybe a new Buff or Debuff..... give a Guild a Reason to want a bruiser on a raid.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> on Live Update day there will be no reason for any bruiser to play the game ever again.  </DIV>

They aren't just nerfing Bruisers. They're nerfing everybody. I suppose, in a twisted sense, that could be considered class balance.

Trust me, ther are specificly nerfing about 10 of our combat arts.  almost everything we can do is being nerfed.

They are making it so it doesn't trigger Melee Auto-Attack to turn on when it procs while you're using Ranged Auto-Attack.

<P>I don't think it is the End of the World, but I agree.  A number of things bruisers brought to the table, and made us different/special are being removed.  Our stuns (all stuns, I know, but it was one of our <STRONG>main</STRONG> tools) are being reduced, our two minor CC abilities, Mez and Fear, are now one, so effectively no one will ever use Fear again except as an entertainment spell (wheeeeee - I certainly won't bother improving it from App 1) and then to add icing to the whole thing, Monks are GAINING one of our abilities.  PvP issues/uses need not be part of this discussion, as they have stressed that they have the ability to adjust them without effecting the PvE side.</P> <P>I really don't care what it is, but now there is NO significant difference between a monk and a bruiser.  I realize they cannot make them TOO dissimilar, but why <EM>would</EM> you choose to be a bruiser now?  Monks have all of our abilities, plus their own unique abilities.  Very little changes their (SOE) mind once they decide on a "game balance," but as I play my bruiser mainly, I will be enjoying him a lot less.  Eventually, it won't worth it if it is not, in the end, fun.  Heck, give me a little bruiser sidekick, like that silly dog the shaman get.  Anything, but this bland sub-monk status.</P>

They seriousely nerfed the bruiser, and gave more utility to the monk, who was already much more usefull. They don't understand class balance or they wouldn't give the monk everything the bruiser has and more. I have a 61 monk and a 62 bruiser and BY FAR the monk has many more tricks in their bag and is by far the superior of the two classes.</DIV>

I think everyone is getting bored seeing brawlers solo farming SoS training groups and generally being a PITA to all concerned.I play a monk, and I can see how this is totally overpowered. You have a massive dungeon full of named, and brawlers can literally train from 1 to another killing phers and moving on - and what lets them solo blue con named so easily? omgosh no? could it be?! stuns?!![expletive haxx0red by Raijinn].!<div></div>

What mantis botl did prior was provide basically an extra atk that would trigger autoatk, but would allow us to proc off that atk. This spell is effectivly changed into a dam proc now. No longer triggering auto atk, but no longer triggering procs. IMHO its a good change. Our OLD very old bruiser Offensive stance. had an extra atk proc liek this that would trigger auto atk and cause the bruiser to fly off into lavastorm lakes when auto runing and die. Like mantis bolt it was changed to a proc.
