Question about items made before the tradeskill revamp

<DIV>Hello,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sorry if this has been addressed in another thread, I went back about 3 or 4 pages of threads, found nothing but talk of the combat changes.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, I have the following questions:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>a)  I know that items made from the "one combine" method of TU 24 are now "Mastercrafted" if made from a rare, as opposed to "Legendary".  Now, is let's say a Mastercrafted Pristine Cobalt Longsword the same, stat wise, DPS wise and so forth as a pre TU 24 Legendary Pristine Cobalt Longsword?  Or is a Mastercrafted Pristine Cobalt Longsword nerfed in comparsion to a pre TU 24 Legendary Pristine Cobalt Longsword?  (Just using this as an example, replace "Cobalt Longsword' with whatever item you want made from a rare)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>b)  Regardless of my answer to question a, what happens to handcrafted legendary made before TU 24?  Does it become Mastercrafted also, or stay Legendary?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, what I'm trying to determine is if it would be wise to harvest pre LU 24 as many rares as I can, and make them into various items before a "nerf" to Mastercrafted (assuming Mastercrafted has lower stats, DPS, resists, etc) or if it won't truly matter.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for your time..and just saying this to everyone, please no derailing this thread.  <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Devs said that the already crafted cobalt armor will keep his good old stats, only stuff crafted after lu 24 would get the new stats, I assume the same holds true for all other items too.
