<DIV>Betraying just became out of the question for high levels if they reset all spells to apprentice I. Will master II choices get reset as well? If you have a respec available can you use that to choose again?</DIV>

<DIV>once betrayed , all spells drop to app1 , if you still have /respec you can use it , if not SOE really needs to get it fixed</DIV> <DIV>one thing that is still unknown is that , Lv 50 + spell will they be automatically scribed or do we need to obtain it ourselves?</DIV><p>Message Edited by Timesquare on <span class=date_text>05-13-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:01 PM</span>

If they don't allow the option to /respec MANY players will be really PO'd.That's just not right.<div></div>

I imagine there must be a repsec automatically in the betrayal quest once your class changes and your spells hit App 1. It wouldn't make sense otherwise. Not only would you not get your Master II choices, but you'd be missing your class traits as well. I thought about this for along time but came to the conclusion this <u>has</u> to be included. I would love some DEV clarification on this though. If we don't get an automatic respec after doing the quests, then it's simply going to be beyond weird having Guardian traits on my Beserker toon. Clearly it's not going to work.<div></div>

There is no doubt here.Although you won't become a Berserker if you betray as a Guardian. Both are neutral classes. You'll remain a Guardian, but you'll have to choose your Master 2s again, because a betraying Necromancer will be forced to. It's only fair.</div>

Neutrals get the option to change classes just like non-neutral players do. There are 2 things in this betrayal process.1) If you want to change from good to evil or evil to good, and you are a non-neutral class, then you obviously become the other of whatever non-neutral class you are now.2) Neutrals also get the chance to change classes unless this has changed recently. Every single post dealing with Betrayal/Exile going back over several months mentions neutrals will also get to change classes. So you will be able to change cities, and change classes or just change classes and remain good or evil.I believe it's even broken down into seperate quests. Exile and Betrayal. Though I would like some confirmation on this as you've made me very nervous now. I'll dig up some old posts if you like, but I know from what I've read that neutrals will get the same benefits to change classes like non-neutrals. They just have to do more quests.<div></div>

In the current (Live) betrayal quest, you are forced to /respec after you have talked with your new class trainer (whether or not you change classes) when you complete the entire quest. I don't see why this would change, or how it could possibly work if it did, given the above example of a Necro having Conjuror Master II's, unless they took the time to add logic that said 'you are still the same class, so they stay the same'. Of course, then you'd have people complaining that the system wasn't fair, cause everyone else gets a free /respec, so I doubt they'd do it if for no other reason than to save the headaches.<div></div>
