<DIV>I am looking for some feedback on this. I often think how nice it would be to be able to just /follow anyone I want on my raid, mainly as a way to find them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>With 24 members (and a ton of pets) and names turned off (to stop lag), it is often really hard to find someone.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I often provide potions to members and that is not easy as it is right now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Imagine just being able to type /follow NAME and run straight over to the Main Tank (ours is a small gnome char, so hard to find).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Or, when your healer dies or you are not in a group with a healer, and a healer says, "COME TO ME FOR HEALS", you just type /follow HEALER and half a sec later you are within range and getting healed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Devs, please consider this simple request. It wont break anything in game. It will make raids (and lag) more bearable for a lot of us.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks!</DIV><p>Message Edited by csp02031 on <span class=date_text>05-05-2006</span> <span class=time_text>11:43 AM</span>

<P>I never checked.. does /target work in EQ2? So you could /target Soandso and then hit /autofollow?</P> <P>nm, /bonkself, group members only on autofollow</P><p>Message Edited by Calthine on <span class=date_text>05-05-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:25 PM</span>

<P>I believe that /target NAME works in EQ2. At the very least, it would get you onto the correct target.</P> <P>One thing I miss from the brief time I played SWG was that you could follow ANYTHING - including MOBS. It was WONDERFUL. I wish that /follow worked that way in EQ2. It was very helpful in SWG when you had a mob that was running all over the place to just hit /follow so you could keep up.</P>

This <b>might</b> seem like a good idea. However,You thought that Bot group harvesting Cazic-Thule 24/7 was bad enough...Just wait for the Bot Raids! Please don't implement this <span><span>:smileywink:</span></span><div></div>

<DIV>Why don't you just open the raid window and right click on that person's name and left click on trade. Works like a charm.</DIV>

I can see the merit I guess, but I never had trouble simply clicking on the name in the raid window and seeing their name light up out of the crowd, or even across a zone...
<DIV>I think this is an excellant idea. Sometimes I get lucky by right-clicking the horde and finding a group member. Last night I couldn't find one to save my life so I couldn't go afk until an encounter which isn't the best time.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Jai1 on <span class=date_text>05-08-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:07 AM</span>

<font color="#cc00ff">I would like there to be an option to set the raid to no auto follow.Meaning, you can't even auto follow the people in your group =DAs an OPTION though. Not a change to the game.</font><div></div>
i will support this, too.this will be an excellent feature, for each raid. because by changing group set up, u will loose auto follow.a raidwide autofollow will be fantastic<div></div>

well, for group only you can just right click on their hp bars and select follow =) This solves the problem of finding a group member in the crowd at least.

I always wonder why they have yet to implement this. <div></div>
Yes! That's exactly what the farmers and botters need! Now instead of a group of them, there will be a raid!It would have it's pro's and con's. Lazy people in raids will be able to get DKP by showing up and clicking AF on the MA.<div></div>

<P>Very good idea!</P><P> </P><P>I have also sent feedback about bringing us the /rtar -/rtarget command back. As a conjurer who don't play with the raid window open, but even if I did, it would still be super to have back.</P><P>Having this feature would be SO nice when others request an essence.</P><p>Message Edited by ambrial on <span class=date_text>05-11-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:26 PM</span>

<P>Just target someone through the raid window. Even if you don't keep it open all the time, alt-r opens it. Right clicking in the raid window will give you the same thing you would get by right-clicking on the person standing in front of you, even if they are out of range (except, obviously, for trade), but by having their name highlighted, you could walk towards their glowing name until they are all in range.</P> <P>The concept is good, but the bad that would come of it (lazy people who /follow the MA, then lag into mobs) and the obvious abuse possible from raid bots, I sincerely hope it <STRONG>DOES NOT</STRONG> get implemented.</P> <P>Seriously, its not that difficult to target people in a raid. Just learn to not be so dependant on clicking on the toon itself.</P>

<DIV>I think all you posters worried about bot raids are misguided.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It is already easy to have a raid autofollow one person. That person just joins the group, everyone follows, then moves to next group, etc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So basically if bot raids as you call it were going to be a problem, they already would.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is a simple addition that will make a lot of peoples lives easier. Please implement it.</DIV>
