<DIV>Why does the scout and fighter have to compete for spongy loams, while the priest (moonstones), and mages(acrylia) dont. Shouldnt there be a 4 rare added so each class will have a certain rare to use.</DIV>

I think thier  logic is  Scouts and Fighters use loam,  Acrylia is used for Mage Adept 3 AND Scout/Fighter stat jewlery, and moonstones are used for priest adept3 and Mage/Priest Jewlery  in an attempt to balance out the demand for all the rares. The only problem i see is it seems  spongy loam is more rare then the other two  at least on Unrest<div></div>

<DIV>Spongy Loam is also much more rare on Runnyeye than Moonstone, currently on the Qeynos broker there are 3 pages of moonstone and only 13 loams in total, 11 of which are from a known botter so I'd rather stick needles in my eyes than buy from him.</DIV>

<DIV>Did the devs post anything on why they made this change?  Thanks in advance.</DIV>

<DIV>Everyone who's anyone who pays attention to the market KNOWS spongy loam is the rarest. On my server spongy loam stayed at about 1-5 on the broker at any given time for **3 months*** meanwhile there was about 20-40 moonstoens at any given time in that same period. When rares became more avaliable on adventure drops spongy loam finally hit the omg 1 page of em status..meanwhile moonstones were at 5 pages and much cheaper. Now cuz of this change, back to 1-5 spongy loam at insane price again, meanwhile moonstones going more and lower.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Nice balance out...not....if everyone knows this and was against it why did it go through? Oh duh, that was stupid to ask :smileytongue:</DIV>

True, all they did was make the rarest rare, well, rarer. Mages made out great on this though. I congratulate them for finally being able to get all their upgrades cheaply. Go get yourselves upgraded right away before they change their minds. lol

Definately B vitamins.</P>

Same situation on my server ...Even before the LU23 announcement prices for loam where at about 175% of that of moonstone. Now prices are 2,5p for moonstone 1p for acrylia and 4,5 for loam. Does SOE really want to tell me that I have to pay 4,5 times more than a mage? Hello? Where's the fairness in that? <b>Are Scouts and Tanks second class players?</b> You have to be literally blind to make such an "adjustment".Guess I'll just retire my main (a Scout) and either play my healer (with KoS and the recent LUs the basically killed my Coercer so I'm running out of classes to play) or none at all until they change it to something decent. Something that won't make me feel like I should suffer just because I play a Scout. Another one gone .. oh well let's see when raids don't have a single scout. Quite often I was already the only one ... <span>:smileyindifferent:</span>Then again with all those changes towards the holy Trinity of Heal, Tank and DPS you don't need Scouts anyway. I wonder however why tanks are still stuck at loam. Must be a bug <span>:smileysad:</span>

Well fighters were paying 4p or more, now it is worse because they are no more common than before and twice as many people need em.  The people saying it will all even out are most likely benefitting from this asanine decision.  Good times to be a mage or priest.  If I was level 50 mage or priest I'd screw updating my current spells and would be getting my T7 adepts made and banking them while I could for so little.  For what it would cost me to upgrade 3 or 4 T7 abilities on my paladin a mage or priest could upgrade ALL their's!  That's [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ed up!<div></div>
