Soo, here's another thing to consider, what is going to happen with the "instant" cast time spells. I have a line, Prismatic Havoc, that when applied to a target goes off 3 times off their melee attacks. The problem is the actual damage part(Prismatic Shock) has no cast time what soever. Also one of my DoTs has terminates with an extra DD that also has no cast time, and still counts as me casting a spell. Also Bards get an instant cast encounter(Troubador) or PBAoE(Dirge) interrupt+chance to KD spell. Then we come over to coercers who have Sibyllant and Spell Lash which they apply to enemies and damage them based on their actions. Though the damage they get out of them(Convultions) is regarded as an instant cast spell, and spell procs may never happen on them after this change.I'm sure other classes have similiar spells that are "instant" cast time, but these are the 3 classes I know that will have the major problems with the instant cast times. What's going to happen here? Are these classes just going to lose spell procs off these spells altogether? Or are they going to get their own cast time so that they still have a chance to proc?

I was wondering the same thing myself. Many of the Troubador abilities are "quick casts." Kind of puts the the description for Aria of Acclaimation out of date, heh. It simply states that the spell has a 30% chance to proc on a  hostile spell that is not resisted. Should this now read 0%-30depending on the timer? The troubador spell Pinksi is refering to, Mighty Bellow, is the instant cast spell. Thus should Aria's description now say 'not including mighty bellow'?

The other question is, for these how will the proc change affect the KD portion of these spells? Because they certainly don't proc KD much (I've never seen it proc but other bards claim to have) at all, as it is this is a rarely used spell, used to boost some procs of items and occansionally for the interupt if I manged to hit the hotkey in time. So should I just forget about it completely?

I was wondering when this went into the notes "how many devs play troubadors?"  Do they have any idea how many spells we have over a 2 second cast time?If you answered 1, you are correct.  And that 1 is our AE DD.Bravo.  From mediocre DPS to absolute poop.   Can't wait to parse this and start posting my rants.<div></div>
