I think there are a lot of us that would like to know the answer to this question.  It would be a great addition to the game for a "dragon mount".

I hate to say it, but, devs will never answer a thread like this.  They have stated MANY times that they will purposefully NOT look at threads that call them out, even if it's for a question...  In fact, I'm suprised it hasn't been locked yet /shrug<div></div>

As someone stated earlier, this conversation came up at fan faire. It is not that they do not want to add mounts to the game. They are trying to move away from that. You see it all over the game, not just with the mounts. Take the new "epic" quest. First, you had the prismatic. DoF comes, and you get the God King weapon. It is very similar to the prismatic (mostly just an upgrade). That was not their intentions, but it is what ended up happening. So... people ALWAYS referred to it as the Prismatic 2.0. And that is not what it was. In fact, the dev's stated it made them sick when they kept hearing people refer to it as such. Which is why we do not have the spiffy mana regen on our new KoS items. <P>How about a flying mount that doesn't actually fly other than the wings moving on the animation.  Have it use the same movement bonus as current mounts.  However it has the ability to fly/port to KOS.  Using the fly/port ability dismisses the mount and the recast timer is 30 min.</P> <P>Probably would have to be included as a quest so non guilded players can get it.  Have that mount be a less apealing creature than the guild version.</P>
