View Full Version : New Guild recruitment. Step towards LFM Window?
Anyone else think (hope) that this will lead to a LFM window for groups? This is something that has been discussed a great deal, a few small changes to the guild recruitment would probably yield a decent LFM feature.

We're sorry, but that would go against the anti-grouping policy that SOE has in place. We do not want to pressure people who are happily soloing into joining a group. Nor do we want to encourage people to meet others. After all this is a MMORPG, not a MMOGRPG.<div></div>

From the test notes I am really excited to see it.

If I could get a list of all the group leaders, whenever I'm looking for a group, I'd send each one a tell. DDO implemented a LFM type thing and it works pretty well. Please spare the "This isn't DDO" comments.</span>

A lot of people don't want to be bugged by "Will you join my guild" tells.
<div></div>I sure hope so, it would be a great feature to add. They added the zone reuse timer window and i never thought they would think about adding that. Surely a LFM window wouldnt hurt the game and they seem to be focusing on ways to improve upon the game. Why not add this? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
