<div></div>If you or your group attack and kill something it fixes this bug every time I have had it.  I don't know if it's a 100% chance, but every time I had it happen to me this has fixed it.  Also I think the level 20 wizard pet is just like a living buff if I remember correctly.  I don't play a wizard so maybe someone else can confirm this.  I don't think it's supposed to attack anything.

The wizard spells to summon a familiar which are -not- AA related (at level 20 a kitty, at a later level a flying serpent, forget the others) are FLUFF spells.  They are for appearance and nothing more.For all wizard familiars, the Pet Menu is only useful to dispel it, park it in one place, or get it to follow you.  The wizard familiars are -not- like the conjurer/necromancer pet which can be sent in to battle or set to guard you.On rare occassions, if the wizard's familiar gets hit by an AE attack, it -might- participate in the battle, but they might have fixed that "bug". More often, though, the kitty pet (the one at level 20) will just sit there cleaning her paws while you're getting your derrier handed to you by whatever it is you're fighting.  The kitty might even stretch and yawn as it watches you dying.As for the attack stance... if -any- member of your group is engaged (or the game thinks someone is), you will remain in the "battle stance". <div></div>

<div></div>Thanks for clearing that up.  Like I said, I never played a wizard so I wasn't sure.  I thought they might have had a buff since it seems all the wizards I know keep theirs running around.  I figured there was a reason to, but I guess they just like having a cat follow them around heh.
