There's supposed to be an in-game mechanism for this in development. Like /face in EQ1.

Yes, once. But on test, you can do multiple times from what I can see.

Hope they will bring back the choice to alter your avatar. The in-game usually differs from the "making screen".Sometimes more than you want =P

I have 2 DE's that are SOGA and I really want to change back to normal but they look worse in normal So I hope they give us a chance to change the faces again as in EQ.1

Moor or black -guard commented on this a while back when the introduced the ability to change appearences from char select screen. The reason they said you can only do it once is because they want to add in-game appearence changers, but I have not seen anything said about it again. I will see If I can dig up that post.

I think certain things shold be changeable in game, but not others. Hair color and style should be changeable, but not size, facial features or whatnot. Basically, unless the gnomes have come up with some form of drastic plastic surgery, those things just wouldn't be possible.

I think sometimes people rush through the character select stuff way too fast. However, I have to point out though that for some races there just is no "good looking" option. Personally, I love barbarians and I am a female. But my choices either original or SOGA were all WAY too masculine. I understand barbarians are "big girls", but does that mean they have to male facial structure and butch hair cuts? I found the same to be true with dark elf females as well. No matter what I tried, they just look like men with longer hair.

Message Edited by Scottishlass on 03-02-200608:49 AM

Greetings!

I wish you could at least change hair . . .on the creation screen when I choose, for example, bright light red hair, with white streaks, when I get to the game screen it is much darker, on the order of mahogany with kinda pinkish streaks. I tried to make my barbarian's hair lighter than i wanted it, but it still comes out looking really dark red. I am not sure why the descrepancy, she looks great on the character select screen . . .if she would just look like that in game i would be happy <smile>. Anyway, what lady doesn't want a new hair color or new hair style . . women have been changing both for thousands of years, and loving it . . .

Anaba

Devs, please give us the opportunity to change our appearance more than once. I have a new alt whose skin tone looks great at character creation, but in game is much too dark. Since most people don't play on higher graphics settings, some people tell me she's just "too dark." I'd like to lighten up my new zerker's skin tone, but don't get the option.

The only other choice I have is to totally re-make the character, giving up 20 levels of experience. If we could change our appearance over and over again in EQ1, why not in EQ2 as well?

/begs

Suite
