Question about the new betrayal quest

<div>A theoretical question that occured to me about the new betrayal. If you've got a character whom betrayed to the opposing city with the old betrayal quest, is it possible to betray back to the old city with the new quest or can the game recognize if you've betrayed a city before (which is what I'd expect to happen)?</div>
