LaunchPad Crashes

Hello, I'm having a problem with the TestEQ2.exeEvery time I run it (since this morning) it gets to the point of "Patcher initializing..." and crashes.Live EQ2.exe launchpad works fine.Any suggestions?Thanks<div></div>

Forgot to mention, no error mesage aside from the usual Windows one: LaunchPad.exe had encountered a problem and needs to shut down blah blah<div></div>

<div></div><div></div><div></div>Well hey, and I thought it was just me. I'm getting the same thing... Live is fine, Test crashes as soon as it begins scanning.I can fix it by going to C:Program FilesSonyStationLaunchPad and deleting the EQ2 folder in there. Run the patcher again and it'll rebuild that folder, and then the launchpad works fine.Well... kind of. Right now mine wants to download everything to the TestServer folder of my EQ2, meaning it's attempting to download *everything* and drop it in that folder.And... close the launchpad, start it up again, and *boom* same thing. Crashes when it starts scanning, and around we go again.<span> :smileysad:<i>Edit: n/m that... seems that's how it's supposed to go, everything *should* be in that folder. What I originally did was copy my entire EQ2 folder to another drive and move TestEQ2.exe into the root of it. That worked fine until now...</i><i>I moved everything into the TestServer folder instead and everything works fine again. Launchpad has stopped crashing too. <div></div>Ok Experiencing the same crash to desktop bug as the others above but took it a step further.Started moving and or deleting items out of the eq2test folder to see if i could figure out why the client was crashing....IE moving or deleteing then restarting client to see if I found the offending file causing the lockup...Finally got the client to work by moving the paks directory to adjacent directory... Warning this action will cause client to think that all data graphics files are absent...It says i have 11 hours of patch which is incorrect will probably only take an hour (man i love broadband)I will report whether or not this jury rigged method of bypassing this bug works <span>:smileyvery-happy:</span>Camping download screen *grabs novel and awaits download*Update: mebbe not such a good idea even though I moved the files back over The updater still thinks those files are missing Three hours left on download....
