<div>I had the same thing happen to me. The cause of this seemed to be my havng my test client on a different drive than my live client.</div><div> </div><div>When I tried to log onto the test server the patcher read my "TestServer" folder and discovered that it only contained 2 files so it began the download to install all files to that folder. This would have been a 3rd instance of EQ2 on my system.</div><div> </div><div>I did find a work around for getting this to stop. On the drive where my test client is located I created a folder called "EverQuest II" and moved the folder containing my client into it. I then renamed that folder "TestServer".</div><div> </div><div>This caused my directory structure to match what the patcher was expecting so it logged me in without downloading anything. All of my UI and Character files were intact and everthing in game was as it should be.</div><div> </div><div>I think this could happen to anyone using a second client copy or a "non-standard" directory structure. Just fake the directory structure and the patcher will behave its self as it should.</div><div> </div><div>Good Luck</div>
