LU19 destroyed 3 of my Characters. They were deleted!!

Logging in after the LU19, I discoverd in horror that 3 of my characters were missing from the Character Select screen.  3!  Instead of having 6 toons to choose from, I had 3.  What on earth happened and why?  Only the day before I had transferred some valuable items onto one of my lower alts which thankfully wasnt' one of the toons deleted.  I got lucky on that one but am furious as to what and why this happened.  Has anyone else had this problem?  I have since recreated the characters but they are all lvl 1-3 now.<div></div>

<div></div>Were these alts under lvl 5 and not logged on in a while? Not sure if the cull has taken place yet or it thats closer to KoS & the server merge, but if so, thats why. If not, /petition it.

<div></div><p>My post just above is incorrect.  </p><p>I logged out and back in the game and the missing characters are no longer missing.   Whew!</p><p>So, the first time you log in after the patch might not show all of your active characters.   Suggest logging out and back in again to see if that fixes it.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>

So far no problem, they were low lvls and I ahdn t logged them in a while.</div><div> So, having 4 characters and wanting to test the changes, I create a new 5th character just after the update. I take him to lvl 10, logging out and back in from time to time... then I come back tonight, the game updates the Everquest.exe file, I try to launch the game directly on that new lvl 10 character I had just created. <div></div>Characters often disappear from the list for a login or 2 after a big update.... just give it time and don't freak out.

<div></div>Glad to hear yours are back. Here is something to remember if it happenes again and they don't come back. All you have to do is file a petition and talk with a GM in game on a different character. I have had 1 accidentally deleted and they were able to recover it for me.
