<div>If you choose your Class at character creation, what happens when you betray?   i.e. Start in Freeport as a Necromancer but betray to Qeynos.   Right now, you can't be a Qeynos Necro since The Class quest doesn't exist for a Necro in Qyenos.</div><p>Message Edited by Phenzor on <span class="date_text">01-29-2006</span><span class="time_text">04:31 PM</span></p>

<div></div>If you betray from Freeport as a necromancer, you will become a conjuror as soon as you've moved into Qeynos. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Didn't they say you could betray at any level though? So can you betray to change classes at like level 50?<div></div>

Eventually yes, but NOT with lu19.<div></div>

<div></div>How come they allow the combination of class/lvl in any way but not city/class? I honestly dislike Qyenos and DON´T want to be there but I also want to play a Ranger. Ok, Freeportian Paladin or a Qyenosian Necro might sound odd but what about all that free choice?

Because that's not how it works. If you opened up Ranger to Freeport, you'd have to allow Assassins in Qeynos, which doesn't work. You'll never be a good class in Freeport or an evil class in Qeynos.<div></div>

<font color="#ff0000">hmm, i have been wondering on the final details of the later change to the betrayal quest myself, i have a hard time seein how it would just change u from say a necro to a conjurer, or assassin to ranger if movin from freeport to qeynos for example, i mean if all ur doing is gettin a free class change like that, with the profression change coming up if someone wanted a conjurer instead of a necro why not just make a conjurer instead of doing the betrayal quest, seems like the point of removing the lvl restriction on the quest would be to allow say a paladin or conjurer from qeynos to move to freeport as that class. though thats just my opinion on the subject</font><div></div>

The purpose is actully if you wanted to make a froglok necro or a ratonga monk.. that kinda thing.  Races are still good or evil only, if you want a class that isnt availible for your city, you would have to betray. <div></div>

<div>I am totally confused as to how the quests are stated in the producer's letter, saying that nothing in the quest was changing but then the quest is available by all levels..  How can a level 5 Ratonga brawler (trying to be a monk) for instance, take on 500 gnolls and then all of the high-teen levelled named gnolls as well?  If that changing?  Will that poor fellow need to call for help to get those necessary kills? </div><div> </div><div>*Confused*</div>

The quest is NOT available to all levels. They WILL be changing how betrayal works, but not yet. When they do, it will NOT be the same quest, nor target the same mobs.<div></div>

<div>Whee-hoo, thank you for the input.  Any ETA known as to the changes to the betrayal system?  After KoS?</div>

The only classes they can change to are relatively similar though.<div></div>
