View Full Version : What happened to Fighter class spells?

<div>I did a fairly thorough search through most of the forums, and was unable to find even a single post on this subject.  I rolled up a new Monk on Test, and decided to make a set of App IV spells for him using another alt that is a Scholar.  That alt has already left QC, and uses the tradeskill instance in a starting city.  I've used this same alt for all the Priest and Scout spells for other alts, with the Monk being the first Fighter I've created on Test.  The problem is that when I try to begin the crafting session for ANY spell at the chemistry table, I get a message immediately after hitting the "begin" button that says something along the lines of "You have not selected the correct components.  The tradeskill session has been cancelled."  This occurs with every single spell in the recipe book.  Obviously, I made sure that I have all the needed components showing in the window, all the correct quantities are indicated, and all values are "green".  The message doesn't really make sense to me anyway, sinse you can't physically select the wrong component that I'm aware of.  Even if you use the "change" button for any given component, the only items that would show up for you to select as an alternate would be other legitimate components as determined by the game.</div><div> </div><div>I thought perhaps there was an issue with using some components from the island and some from the newbie areas, so I went to Oakmyst and collected all new components, but it still failed in the same way.</div><div> </div><div>I then logged on my son's account, and tried to make a spell at the chemistry table with every one of his alts, and exactly the same thing happens with all his characters as well.</div><div> </div><div>Is this a unique issue to me, or does anyone else have this problem?  If nobody else has this issue, then perhaps I have a corrupted file somewhere.  Although I would be surprised if that was the case, since it would be unlikely the exact same corruption occurred on two seperate computers with two different accounts.</div>

<div></div>This is an issue occurring with all crafted items. To get around it, take the two loam you need to make the item out of stacks, and have them as single items in your inventory. This is a work around you will need to use til they fix the converted recipes to recognize stacks.

<div></div>I'll try that, thank you.  Is this unique to the Chemistry table though?  I do quite a bit of crafting, and it seems odd that I haven't encountered this before now.

<div></div>Elyana, that worked perfectly, thanks.  I was able to do all the spells for my Monk and Pally!!:smileyhappy:

<div></div>This is happening with all recipes that have the same component listed more than once in the recipe (fighter essences most notably with the loams).
