The character I was on when the server was taken down is the character that has the same problem. My other character on Test comes up just fine and I can play him in game. The one that has the problem crashes when I try to enter the world from the character select screen. First I get a critical error--"Application ran out of memory when requesting 201326608 bytes." Clicking OK there will get me this:Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime LibraryRuntime Error!Program: ProgramFiles/Sony/EverQuestII/TestServer/EverQuest2.exeThis application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.Bleh.The Bleh is mine, not the error message's! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

Bit more information from me. I was just now able to create a new character and play her. So, of three characters on Test, the only one that has this problem is the one I was on when the server was taken down. She was in Oakmyst Forest. Odd.<div></div>

After crashing a few times, I monitored memeory.  Client crashed with:   out of memory message when requesting 27021248 bytesTask manager would usually report 900,000 K - 1,000,000 K I then entered game to the character select select screen.   Memory reported 53,652 K ( 104,000K high )When I selected a character ( I only have 1 ),  memory started climbing very quickly till it crashed. <div></div>

Update:Trying to login yet another toon, this time to the Outpost, got the same error message with a different number:Application run out of memory when requesting 18795344 bytesI was watching the Task Manager as EverQuestII.exe got from 290M to 470M as it loaded the Char. Select screen. And as I selected a toon and tried to load it, the memory usage went steadily up. As it got to 510M (at the "loading character into the zone&quot<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> the manager started reassigning the memory from other programs to feed the EQ, but obviously there isn't enough, so crash...<div></div>

<div></div>Another "Me Too" post here.Anything apart from a new toon cannot enter game. Actually that's not totally true.I created a new character and entered the game, ran around for a bit did 1st little quest and logged to chacter select.Selected same character again and entered game with no problem. Did a little more running around and visited tradeskill instance - which caused a crash. Now I can't enter game with this character.<div></div>

Joining the bandwagon, "Application ran out of memory when requesting 201326608 bytes" when trying to load character Seliana into Willow Wood.I can load my Evil wizard Slisssta in just fine.  I did camp Seliana out before the server came down for maintenance this afternoon, not sure if that might be related.<div></div>

<div></div>Tried logging in with my character selected and I had the same problem. So I tried going into the game with unselected mode. I get to the character selection screen just fine. I selected the char I was having issues with, and it would load all the resources just fine. It wasn't until it attempted to load the char to the world that it crashed with the huge memory error (approx 1 gig). Repeated tests of this always failed at the same location.

<div></div>well its nice to see that some things dont change , i guess i can consider this my welcome back lol. 4 days of play now i get a few off, =/.   and just to /sign the complaint i got an error requesting like 2000000000 on the memory so i guess i was a wee bit short lol.
