I asked same question here as well <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> :<a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=testfeed&message.id=44185" target="_blank">http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=testfeed&message.id=44185</a><div></div>

No, you don't get to choose. It will scribe as the appropriate equivalent spell for your new class.<div></div>

<div></div>I believe what the OP meant was he buys the spell, but doesn't scribe it.  How does the game know what spell the old master turns into when the change comes around?  For example the OP is a Tank, so the scout spell won't be able to turn into anything based on his class.

<div></div>It will still show the same name as it does currently. When you examine it it will be white (usuable). When you scribe it the correct name (appropriate class)  will show up in your spell book. This is how low level dropped adepts are currently working on Test.

Classes that used to be fighter archetypes won't be able to scribe a scout master.</span></div>
