Has there been any word what will happen to old Adepts and Masters for the first 19 levels? Will we be given the option to choose what class they will be changed to, scribe to the new classes as replacement spell (troub and dirge for bard spells as example) or will they just all vanish when update goes Live?<div></div>

For each upgraded spell that has a direct replacement that replacement will be at the upgraded level. For example my 18 necro had an adept III tellurian recruit. She now has a adept III minon (can't think of the exact spell name). It seemed that most spells have a direct replacement though I didn't go through with a fine toothed comb.<div></div>

<div></div>OK, but what about the unscribed spells still in vaults and banks? Got a Singing Shot Master lying in bank waiting for use.<div></div><p>Message Edited by saXXon on <span class="date_text">01-24-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:21 PM</span></p>

It should be just fine.I have a 20 Fury.  In the guild bank, there was an Adept I of Bloom -- formerly Druid 15 -- lying around.  Now it says "Warden (15) / Fury (15)," but I grabbed it for the Fury and scribed it -- as a result, she got Greater Salve (I think? same icon, different name) Adept I.So the names may not be all changed properly yet, but the upgrades work as they should, hehe.<div></div>

Left the game for a while with 2 master spells for my wizard in the bank.  When I came back they were just gone.  If you lose the spell; you lose the adept/master.  Just the way it goes.<div></div>

<div>Umm the revamp didn't remove any spells, for the most part at least one class gets the old spell, and the others get a similar spell with a different name and sometimes varied effects (like Warlocks ted to get DoT for the 1-9 mage DD spells). If the master's went away it wasn't because of this revamp but something else. Even Adept 1s that are still dropping on test (and Master 1s) are showing multiple classes. I'm not sure if they plan on changing it so these end up being Adept 1's and Master 1's specific to just one class or leaving them as they are so there's a higher chance of getting an Adept1 or Master1 you can use at low levels since we tend to level out of that range fairly quickly. !9b just changed it so instead of Arcane Bindings Adept 1 saying Mage (4) it lists all the mage archetype classes as able to use it. For my warlock that meant when he scribed it it became Bind Adept 1. The spells that don't work cross class are those bought from vendors or crafted.</div>

The revamp removed later invis spells, so if he had masters of those, they were removed.Existing adepts/etc will automagically turn into your equivalent spell. For example a wizard gets Fireball at low levels instead of Lightning Burst, so if you scribe Lightning Burst (Adept I), you'll actually get Fireball (Adept I).I can state this as a fact because I got a Storm of Lightning (Adept I) as a drop on my Coercer on Test, and it upgraded my equivalent (which was NOT storm of lightning)<div></div>

<div>True the revamp did change a few spells and removed drops of upgrades for them, but not the class revamp on test. THe changes to inivs spells and others that no longer get upgrades (and instead scale to level and are always at a 'app3' level or so) have been on live for a while now. The masters though I thought hadn't been removed, but left behind so they could at least be sold to the vendors as they were no longer scribable.</div>

Thnx for the information all, was worried I'd have to level a bard up to that level or lose the master <span>:smileyhappy: Going to make a new Troubador when update goes live.</span><div></div>

<div></div>My test main had looted an adept1 smite a while back and i intended to giv it to an alt.  i haven't scribed it yet, but when i had examined in the shared bank it said all class names instead of just priest. therefore, i see where if you have the existing spell, once scribed by a specific class it would just change.
