<div>I made it to Freeport with my shadowknight and was looking at the vendors just to see what tin plate armor looked like compared to what I was wearing... well I couldnt find any.... Also if I start a character now on the old Isle will he be granted the new class specific armor once LU 19 goes live? I'd like to start a new character now but dont want to do so if he doesnt get his class plate armor and its not available somewhere to buy after the change is made.</div>

<div>You can hit level 10 in a day of playing easily and then you will be in the next tier.  To my knowledge though there is no tin plate.  Characters cant wear plate till lvl 20.  LU19 will change that by letting people start with plate classes but I highly doubt you will find any for sale.</div>

<div>My main concern is having the set of armor any shadowknight has now starting on the test server. If anything just for nostalgia. There may not be any tim plate, but currently there is no iron plate either.. will this be added or will we all have to downgrade to chain for 10-19?</div>

<div></div><p>Not sure about that, ther'es 1-2 more major content patches before LU19 goes live so new armor may yet appear on select vendors and maybe even added to some quest rewards that currently only offer Cloth-Chain armor rewards.</p><p>And considering that all pre-existing characters on test got their class armor and the 12 slot bag after 19a went in I'd think its safe to say that the same will happen on live when LU19 hits, so even level 60 characters will get a free 12 slot bag and a set of newbie isle armor appropriate to their class.</p>

<div>lvl 44 armorer here.  I hated leveling up on only iron chainmail.  As long as those recipes go into the game they will be made and you should be able to find them on the merchant.</div>

<div>There is definitely low level plate armor on test, I've only seen looted and quest pieces though. Odds are they will add more into game.</div><div> </div><div>It isn't a big deal, the armor difference isn't that big of a deal between everything, but cloth, that early on. It spreads out more and more as you level up, but at low levels the mitigation difference isn't that substantial.</div><div> </div><div>I wouldn't expect that if it is craftable to see any tin plate or chain though, well maybe with the subcombines you might, but it wasn't previously worthwhile to make that tier of armor because no one wants to spend half an hour making armor you will outlevel in a couple hours.</div>
