View Full Version : Healing Potions needed on Outposts

<div>You are several potions but they are really useless -- we need healing potions, not poison cure and mental cures which is currently all you have. And with TS not working we sure can't make healing potions. Healing potions would go along way to help soloers in the starter area.</div>

<div></div><p>Actually tradeskills are working, on and off the island. FOr those off it before the fix (or on the Qeynos side if they didn't hit hte new instance first) the shrines in the temples will be in soon.</p><p>People on the island have been getting loams and malachite now so it appears that all tradeskills will work on the island now so that means you can make potions.</p>

<div></div><p>I never really understood why we have healing potions,they really don't help you in a fight,recast times are insane you heal yourself for Xamount of HP but have to wait while your dying for 2+ minutes to reuse another heal and the heals that heal you over time are pathetic....healing yourself overtime for ONLY 30-50 every 6 secs and only lasting about 24-30 secs really sucks,while in the meantime your taking waaay more dmg than that !</p><p> </p><p>But I really would like to see healing potions more usefull <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I'm not asking for a drastic change but I would like something better if I'm soloing <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

Is it as plentiful on the Outposts as it is in the "newbie" surrounding the cities. I always bring my PC's harvesting up so I will check today. I couldn't find any when I harvested last night.</p><p>If they make these drops as rare as the pepper plant, then having them on the islands are worthless. I know on the old IoR I found a pretty even mix between tin/lead/malachite. I really think they need to put on the newbie islands what they have elsewhere: two mining nodes. Having one node with 4 commons and 4-6 rares in it makes it hard to get what you need. Also when I first started playing it threw me off to leave the island and find there were two different mining nodes that each gave different things. I know pepper is a rare gather resource so it should be rare. The new loam and malachite are supposed to be commons so should show up more. THere's also a new rare loam as well so that gives you 4 rares (is there an imbuing t1 rare, if so that would add 2 more rares to the mining node on the islands) from one node.
