<div></div><div>Ok, so you want honest feedback......</div><div> </div><div>When I first started new characters on test, I Loved it.  But now, after having tried just about every single class, I realize there are some HUGE FLAWS that should be addressed.</div><div> </div><div> Learning your role...</div><div> </div><div>     I think it is great that we now have 2 different starting islands, this way you get a good idea of the mentality of both sides.  I also love the racial quests when you get to your burbs.  But Where in the name of Brell, are your class specific Quests.  Come on, There was more variety and info about your class on the old IoR, than now.  Back than, there were 4 distinct paths thru the island.  Now there are just 2, one for each faction.  Some how you have managed to cut the content in half.  When I choose a class now, I should be set upon a series of Quests specific to my Class, or at least at the bare minimum my archetype. </div><div> </div><div>    Im going to try and explain my position better through an analogy..... You decide you want to be a doctor, so you graduate from college (pre-med) and go to medical school, where you read, and study and disect, than you intern, than the next step, etc... only to find out, you dont like being a doctor (the old EQ2 way).  Now for the new EQ2 way,  You decide you want to be a doctor, so in walks a half-naked old guy complaining about an inflamation of his who-ha, carrying a load of charts and graphs and x-rays,  followed by a crabby old nurse, screaming she has the pharmacist on line 2 who cant read your perscription....and you say, [Removed for Content], I dont like being a doctor.</div><div> </div><div>   There needs to be a way, where you get all the tools of your class, with in the first 5 levels ( I mean ALL the tools)  and you are taught through a series of class specific quests, how all of your tools work in conjunction with your other skills and those of other players.  I know some will say, this is DUMBING down the game. Well, DUH, its suppose to be dumbing down the game, at least the first 5 levels or so.  Instead we get a brief paragraph at character creation about our class, that in most cases MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE.  C'mon, the description for Fury never even mentions the fact that you can Heal others</div><div> </div><div>Ohhh, and if you are really trying to give people a clear understanding of their class at an earlier level than by all means please do that.  If A fury is lvl 7 and has yet to cast a REGEN spell or a Damage shield, how much of a Fury is he.  How much of a Defiler are you with NO WARD.  How much of a Swashie can you be, if you cant Mesmerize for even a brief instant...Ugggggg its just so Frustrating.  You guys are on the Verge of Greatness here, just DO IT.....( sorry I sound like a shoe commercial )</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Sorry for sounding so negative, its just " I love the destination, just not the current road to get there"</div><p>Message Edited by Griffinclaw on <span class="date_text">01-19-2006</span><span class="time_text">02:27 PM</span></p>
