Skill ups still too slow at low level

I have been playing on both sides a number of different characters and while skill ups seem to be happening faster now, they are still too slow. I find that if you try to skill up a weapon that you haven't used before and is at the minimum and you are 5th or 6th level that new weapon won't get any skill ups. Mostly because you can't hit anything. Even fighting greens doesn't do you any good as you don't seem to get any skill from fighting greens.IMHO low skill is a major reason that people are having problems with combat skills actually landing and are having a hard time with even con mobs.Brannwyn<div></div>

<div></div>i have to agree even now my lvl 10 necromancer is able to hit barley anything more then 50 percent of the time using spells..my skills are also showing at what is roughly 50% of what it says my max skill lvl should be..
