<div></div>What happen is they cut the damage on every class in half when it comes to spells and combat arts.which is makes low lvls harder then it needs to be. Also all the meanful upgrades aren't upgrades. My lvl 1 and lvl 8 combat arts are the same damage wise but yet the lvl 8 spell is supposed the upgrade to the lvl 1 spell and the lvl 8 combat art costs more power for the same damage

Trying out a coercer, I was having more problem with running out of power than anything else.  I could stun them so they couldn't hit me, but that would take out nearly all of my power.The coercer nuke refreshes fast, so it can be used often, but.. it's the power.The power use on the coercer spells (and presumably the illusionist ones) is high on their stuns.  Without a power regen in-combat, yet, it's.. 2 casts and then the wand to beat on it. <div></div>

<div></div>There is something very wrong. I started an illusionist and saw that my DoT dealt as much damage as my nuke with one tick, and that should never happen. Nuke damage needs to be upped badly.

"If you want do dmg, roll a wizard"  - but nevertheless, our DPS is totally out of balance - even my wife´s Templar nukes for the same amount of dmg that I do - LOL</font></p><p><font color="#ffff00">All we have that does decent dmg are our DoTs, but with these soloing becomes really not easy, because our root keeps breaking quite 100% of the time if you cast 4 DoTs on a mob and root checks at every tick of every spell if it breaks.  :smileymad:</font></p><hr></blockquote>A wizard has a mez for a single target that stuns the wizard for the entire time the target is stunned.  The wizard root has the same issue as you root (the breaks and auto-warps).  The wizard can only regenerate power for self or someone else as a single pop that takes from health and has a slow recast.  The  wizard's big damage spells are on both a slow cast and slow recast timer.I haven't played an illusionist or coercer beyond sampling on briefly on the island.  The problem there, though, I think was power regen.  The coercers DD had a much shorter cast and recast timer than the wizard's, same with the stun.  But the power... it might have been the race (gnome for wizard and iksar for coercer) but.. I personally think it would be ooooodles more useful (and class defining) if one of the first spells is a power regen rather than a mez. BUT, the enchanters really are more of a group oriented class where they absolutely shine. </span><div></div>

<div></div><p>ROFL</p><p>So it took the scaling down of the Illusionist spell line for sub level 10 characters, for people to actually realise how terrible our damage spells are?</p><p>Illus were much better off under the archetype system at lower levels, because Mages could still kill stuff.</p><p>Aah those were the days...</p><p>Can only hope that fixing low level chanters will have a ripple up effect.</p>

<div></div><p>Can only agree with the OP. </p><p>It is sad that my Inquisitor can kill white Mobs while my Illu has problems with blue ones. (at lvl 5 & 6)</p>
