<div></div>Will LU19 do away with ARAC?  I've tried creating races in varous cities, and I'm only allowed to make it for their natural alignment.Currently, new skills (I've tested with a 17 Bard->Troubadour, 14 Druid->Fury, and 11 Rogue->Swashbuckler) don't equal in power as the old skills.  Will players be required to re-update all of their skills again?Currently, all of the old books I've collected on these characters in the past still have the old class/skills/abilities associated with them and have not been updated to correllate with one class or another.  How will you handle books already in the system and converting them over to the new class system?<div></div><p>Message Edited by Loki_d20 on <span class="date_text">01-14-2006</span><span class="time_text">07:58 PM</span></p>

<div></div>It was stated that you will still be able to do a betrayal quest to change alignments to another city.  In that situation your class (if it is not allowable for for that city) will be change to the appropriate sub class (i.e ranger made into an assassin) and all combat arts/spells will be converted to the new class, but as apprentice 1 quality even if your initial class had adept 1 level spells.

I think people are misreading the apprentice one comment. It's been stated in other threads that the spells will be able to convert into equivalent skills at the same quality level. So if you adept3 a skill, you'll still have an adept3 when you finish betraying.<div></div>

It kind of flies in the face of the idea of learning to play your character from the start of the game, though.  Suddenly, you get all of your abilities changed and you have to learn to play with a whole set of new skills.  I guess you reselect mastery skills also. Also, I'm not sure about the transfer of skill levels since they didn't happen when I updated three level 11-17 characters to the new class system on test.  <div></div>

When I first logged her in and selected necromancer, I received all new necro spells (along with my summoner spells); but, these were all APP I in spite of some of my upgrades. HOWEVER, when I next zoned, I received the upgraded versions of the applicable new necro spells.I'm not sure if you're supposed to receive the upgraded versions immediately or not. Maybe, they can clarify that with the LU notes. Otherwise, 99% of the players will be yelling and screaming when they first log in with LU 19.
