<div>When creating a character, the starting attributes for each class should be available BEFORE the character is commited to a particular class.</div>

Not everyone knows to read the web. I suggest the same thing. A simple list should come up on the left hand side of the screen while choosing your race. I could change when you click on each racial face. Then you can see the differences. (which are minor, but still..)<div></div>
Except the starting stats don't matter in the long run. For those who are obsessive over numbers, they are readily available, but for the rest of us, they're meaningless.<div></div>

<div></div>I'm anti-spoonfeeding, but on this one I agree with the OP. Let newbs see the stats up front. It's user-friendly. And, as Magus points out, reletively pointless, lol. It also might be nice if the potential Racial Traditions showed there too.

<div></div><p>Heh well most racial traditions overlap, but are just named a differently. About the only real variance I've seen is in which tradeskill the bonus is in and some of the long-reuse timer abilities (I for one almost always take one of the permanent enhancements as they're more useful in the long run).</p><p>As for the starting stats well they're available on the web and in the instruction manual. I think they don't show them in character creation to avoid the 'urge' to have race/class templates, something they forced on players in EQ1 by making classes only playable by certain races.</p>
