<div>Please change the new writ system to allow us to do lower level writs as well. Even if they give little to no status points based on level difference.</div>
<div></div><p>Could you please provide a reasoning for this?</p><p>I can't really see why I would want to do writs for little to no gain, but I am very interested to see some other opinions on that.</p><p>Is there some hidden benefit that I'm not thinking of?</p><p> </p><p>Thanks,</p><p>Padiddle - The Charmed Ones - 51 Wizard - Befallen</p><p>Puredark - The Charmed Ones - 27 Necromancer - Befallen</p>

<div></div>There's those of us who like to do quests, with the speed I level and how long it takes me to do most of the writs (since I usually end up having to solo them and half of them require heroic-only mobs in large amounts) I usually only get 1 writ per tier from each faction. I also missed out on the lower-end writs entirely on my main because I didn't join a guild until I was around level 25 (missed like 3 tiers of writs). It would be nice to be able to go back and do them just to have them in my list of completed quests. Its not the reward, its the quest itself.

<div></div>I want that so bad, it hurts.
<div></div><div>Hadn't really thought about things that way. That's what makes this type of game so fun to me. There are literally hundreds of different ways to approach how you play, and probably no one who plays exactly as I do.</div><div> </div><div>I have always created alts to "re-live" the lower level content, but I understand where you are coming from. I tend to play a little more than most people are able to, which gives me that option. If I had more limited time to play, I would probably alter my approach.</div><div> </div><div>In all honesty, my wife plays as well, so I actually play more than I really should.</div><div> </div><div>Have fun!</div><div> </div><div>Padiddle-The Charmed Ones-51 Wizard-Befallen</div><div>Puredark-The Charmed Ones-27 Necromancer-Befallen</div><p>Message Edited by Racsan on <span class="date_text">01-15-2006</span><span class="time_text">07:01 PM</span></p>

<div></div>I believe they said on test that you would be able to do writs at any level. Can't quite remember if you would receive status if unguilded, but you would receive status towards the city faction. Hope that helps : ).

<div></div>Even unguilded you get status points for yourself as well as faction. But you can't do any writ at any level as far as I can see. At level 12 I only had writs to choose from for each faction which is all they have at that level range. Not sure if I'll still be able to select them once I hit level 15 though.

In fact, my wife's monk alt went to get new writs after dinging 37. The mage guild offered exactly ZERO writs for that level.</p><p>The new system actually gives you LESS writs to choose from.</p><p> </p><p>Sunrayn, 55 guard, leader of The Noble Kindred--test</p>

The "new" writ systems now gives writs for non-guildies from the 4 factions in each town in exchange for status point which can be exchanged for goods at certain faction vendors. The faction vendors for non-guildies offer different goods than the city merchants for guild members. This is a good thing, as you can purchase "Status" items now whether you're in a guild or not.
